My hair is not exactly curly but very frizzy so it definitely curls in a really ugly way even with style products. 1. Tried DIY Rebound a few years ago, do you think it was Wellastraight or something? Never try! He worked a couple of times, but after that I completely fried my hair. It didn't last either. 2. Used/always using endeavor iron if I need to go for formal events or "dress" so I'd make sure my strip is in place. Nice alternative if your hair is not too frizzy/curly but not recommended in the long term because it would make your hair really dry, even with "protecting" style products. 3. Rebound. It starts and never stopped! I do it in Supercuts, it's like $50 for the bangs, but since I've been doing it for 3 years, my stylist would just mix the whole product into my entire hair. I think this is the best method because it's easy to maintain (but you have to overcome initial rectitude when you've just bounced), economically viable in the long term and can last if you're familiar with your hairstyle. In my case, I've always liked the short sides and the long side bangs... hairy look. So what I would do is bounce once, have a haircut every 2-2.5 months (required to cut the sides very short and simply cut my bang because if you get too overtrim, you just cut all the hair that was bounced). The bounce usually lasts 5-6 months. 20-12-2010, 02:00 PM # Senior Member Join Date: May 2009 Posts: 773 I have an opposite question. What kind of perm do you have? My hair too straight. Thinking about the perming. 21-12-2010, 01:47 AM # Member of supremacy Join Date: Apr 2005 Posts: 8,691 empty sheet wrote: Haha I've tried all the above methods and I have to say that it's best to do rebonation. The bounce usually lasts 5-6 months. Would it hurt your hair? And if you were going to bounce every half year, do you still have to deal with super ugly super straight hair twice a year? 22-12-2010, 04:03 PM # Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Posts: 42 Until now I would say that my hair is in better condition than ever, because I only do it twice a year and it's right/good enough that I don't have to put in any style product or use a straightener, so my hair is free of all the chemicals in that sense. Yup the "red" initial hair would be a bit weird, but if your hairdresser is good enough, he/she would cut it in a more pleasant way that makes it look more natural and it is very difficult to say if you had any work done. In addition, the rewinding in Supercuts is recommended, it is not the cojeado-cheap-ah-lian cojeado type of rebound, so natural in everything. I hope this helps! 22-12-2010, 08:58 PM # Banned Join Date: Oct 2006 Posts: 7,941 My hair bends. It is a short length of medium. And it's wrong. Just wavy. Is it recommended to the right of the hair? Instead of bounce? I bounced my hair 3 years ago in a local living room. It was horrible. So straight. Looks like the Prof. Harry Potter Lol Snap.
